The New Year party has taken place!
The hall of the Loza ("The Vine") restaurant was gorgeously decorated,
the tables were rich, the food was excellent, just like the Russian
style - to treat the guests with the best that flora, fauna and a
cook's skills can offer.
   
An official part opened the party. The principals of all the
departments of our company made speeches, wishes of prosperity and
success for the coming year.
A jolly master of ceremonies was conducting the program; jokes, games
and funny contests were changing each other without a break. Our
foreign guests were gladly taking part in them, and there was almost
no need for translation, as the language of fun and joy is universal.
For example, a couple were acting as Adam and Eve, and they had to
"populate a planet of their own" - i. e. to swell a balloon and draw
it all over with various creatures. Performing such roles has
evidently helped them to get even more close to each other.
   
A dance group was entertaining the guests with fiery dances in various
styles, performed with great skill and fervour. Quite soon each one
caught the spirit and went out to the dance floor, where the jolly
music was playing invitingly.
Everyone was dancing merrily, the tables were all empty, all the
guests joined the dance floor, being carried away by exciting rhythms.
Much fun was the round dance, according to the famous Russian
tradition, and with Father Frost - Ded Moroz in the middle of the
circle, cheering the dancers up and giving presents to the most
outstanding ones.
   
At 12 a. m. the party came to the end. Excited, happy and elated
guests went home, carrying away with them unforgettable impressions
and the feeling of magical holiday.
Wayne, USA, says: "The party was a super one! The food was great, a
good dancing, and it was interesting to see the Russian version of
Santa Claus. So, the general impression is one big plus".
