THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT!!!
BUT...
AN APPRECIATION FOR THE EXTREMELY GOOD SERVICE PROVIDED TO ME.
I am writing this letter as I do believe that good work and effort should be recognised. With the large database of clients that Maxim's Agency handles, I must say that account keeping, be it receiving and despatching of letters, flowers or gifts, has been very well managed. I am writing about my personal experiences only.
No doubt I did believe that I was unfairly charged at times. On the first instance my account was debited as there was a misunderstanding between the Photo studio and a lady that I was corresponding with in the initial instance. This issue was quite promptly handled by the Photo studio and my account was recredited.
The second instance was when I had sent a gift to my Fiancee, and I was charged a processing fee for the letter. I understood that all translations were paid for. But as this letter was translated as an a priority at my request (my account does not have the provision for priority processing) there was a fee that was charged. I was a bit disgruntled at that time, but as I read the terms and conditions I have no problem with being charged for priority translations - as it not part of my account.
The third instance I was charged for was faxes that were to be handed over to my Fiancee. I had no problem being charged for the faxes as I had sent in excess of 30pages. Generally there is no charge for faxes, but I felt quite guilty for sending 30+ pages, which is way beyond anyones generosity even in the "Economically" better off countries. I do not feel guilty anymore as I have paid for the faxes.
As for scamming - I did believe that I was being scammed in the very stages, and I brought this to the attention of Maxim. In all fairness to the "lady" in question, she was given the right of reply by Maxim, and later removed from their listing.
Regarding my Fiancee. I was very impressed with the service provided by Sergei and staff for personally delivering some of the gifts that I sent. I was also given an update after the gifts were delivered.
There was an instance when I did purchase some flowers for my Fiancee, but unfortunately (as far as I was concerned) she got the ones that I had not sent for her (I must add that this was for Valentine's Day - which must have been very hectic at the agency), BUT my Fiancee was very happy with the flowers she got anyway. So there was no point in me pursuing the matter any further. I did no doubt raise this issue with Sergei. In an organisation that services as many clients as Maxim's does - one can expect that there will be some mishaps. At the end of the day we are all humans, and there is a tendency to err. I personally believe that everyone does an EXCELLENT JOB. If we concentrate our efforts in looking for faults we will always find faults.
Overall, I am very impressed with ALL of the services that I have received in attending to any issue that was raised by me and the prompt manner in which it was handled.
As for me, I work in the service industry as well and know fully well that you cannot please all the people all the time. But we can always try.
From my interaction with Maxim's organisation, it does strike me that they do try 110% to resolve any issues that are raised and provide a very high level of service.
Maxim's Agency was recommended to me by two colleagues who have met their wives through Maxims. I most certianly will highly recommend Maxims to anyone who is seeking to find a soulmate. I am very happy with my Fiancee!!
While I am here I want to address the few quotes that appear on Maxim's Website.
With regards to Quote 1 - I must admit that I have not met Maxim, even though I was in Yoshkar-Ola. I have had no interaction with him other than written communication. As indicated earlier ALL of my problems have been fixed by Maxim or his associated staff quite promptly.
With regards to Quote 2 - Everyone likes presents. My Fiancee asked me not to waste my money. Even when I was with her for the full month of January, it was very difficult for me to buy anything for her or get her to buy anything for her self except for a day or two before I left where she bought herself two items, and I was extremely overjoyed with that. My fiancee had all the money whenever I cashed the foreign currency - at no point in time did she abuse the trust placed in her. My fiancee spent each waking waking moment with me except for the few days that she had to go work.
Regarding Quote 3 - At no point in time was I asked for any cash. Ax a matter of fact I had a meeting with them and my Fiancee which went for well over 2 hours, and I did offer to pay for the service, but my gestures were politely refused. Yes cash may be king - there is nothing for free. In the service industry you pay for the service that is provided to you. No doubt it is intabgible! As for account at times they were as low as $0 and at other times well over $400. At no times was I pressured to buy any extra service.
As for the flowers I have bought single roses to bouquets of roses - I was not made to feel any less a human for the selection of my flowers based on the dollar value. I find the charges reasonable for the flowers. Try using Interrflora services! It is not the cost of the flower that boosts the price it is the associated charges and time taken. I am happy to pay for the service to put a smile onto my Fiancee's face. Flowers can vary quite significantly from place to place, street-to-street, country to country.
IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD THE FLOWERS - YOU CAN'T AFFORD THE LADY!!
I have got discounts as well from Maxim's, so has everyone else who has had a good credit rating!!
I might as well stop here otherwise I will end up writing an essay!! I think I already have!
