David from NH, USA requested a background check on a girl in
Kazan.
"I have been corresponding via email with a young lady in Kazan,
Russia. It started out her asking for watches as birthday gifts
for her friends. Then she started asking for money so save her
apartment and sick Aunt. I saved all her emails and have pictures
of her. I must have sent more than $4000 to privatize her
apartment so her Aunt would have a place to live. She denies it
is a Scam but in every email she asks for money. I need to learn if
this young lady is real, or one big SCAM".
We went to Kazan. Unfortunately, it was a very big scam.
Maybe somebody lived in house No 23 in Bauman street before but
it was definitely many years ago. We could hardly find that
half-destroyed building with broken windows and doors in the
backyard. At present there is a store of some garbage there.
There was a man inside. We asked him and he confirmed that it was
building No 23. In general there are no living houses in Bauman
Street. It is a purely tourist are with fancy shops, restaurants,
offices, etc.
In the attached pictures you can see Bauman Street, House No 21
and 27 and several views of House No 23.
On David's request we started a program of recovery of his money.
