— How long has 'Virginia' Langue School been on the market?
— We have been teaching languages since 2002. We have many successful students happily using their language skills in different parts of the world, both in their personal and professional life.

— Will my lady get a certificate proving that she studied English at your school?
— Yes, when she leaves us we will provide her with a certificate stating her level and the details of her course.

— Your program consists of modules. What is a module?
— A module is a block of lessons, 16 hours of tuition.

— How long does a module last?
— Usually ladies take lessons 3 times a week, each lesson lasts 2 hours, that makes 6 hours every week. So 16 hours should last 2.5 weeks. Sometimes our students are very busy and cannot come here 3 times a week or take 2 hours every time they come. Then a module can last longer, depending on the lady's schedule.

— What happens if the student misses a class?
— Usually our ladies are very punctual. They realize how important foreign language lessons are for them and they value this gift very highly, so they do not miss classes without a very serious reason. Should this happen, we have a rule that they should let us know in advance. The latest they should inform us is 1 hour before the lesson. In this situation, the teacher can find another time that will be suitable for them both. If a student misses a lesson without warning either the manager or the teacher, 1-hour class is considered to have been held.

— What happens if a student is late?
— If a student is late, the teacher waits for 15 minutes. After the 15 minutes wait she can consider 1-hour class to have been held and is not obliged to wait any longer.

— How many modules will it take for my lady to start speaking English?
— It depends on the lady, her abilities, her schedule and many other things. She will be able to say basic things in two weeks, although, of course, she will speak fluently in quite a few months.

— Should I order several modules at a time or one module every few weeks?
— Both options have their advantages. Ordering several modules at a time saves you money and gives you peace of mind. While ordering one module every few weeks lets you spread the cost and gives you a chance to assess how long you will need to order lessons for your lady.

— If my lady already speaks some English, will she have to start from the beginning?
— Of course not. She will take a free test and we will find the program that suits her needs best.

— What makes you better than other schools?

— Of course. The lady taking a course here is in a very special position. She needs to know more than any other kind of student. We designed a special program for the ladies, we use the best materials available and we even designed our own course book especially for the ladies. It covers the important topics you will not find in other books: relationships, feelings, personal issues etc.

— Why should I pay money for my lady to take the course in Russia? There are lots of schools in my country, and many of them are free!
— It is a big stress for her to move to another country and for you to have a new person in your life. For many people this stress was too much and the relationship did not survive. Being able to speak the language, even a little, when she arrives, can save the situation. Not to mention her ability to speak to you from the very beginning without having to use the translator's services.

— How can I get a discount?
— We offer discounts to customers paying for large orders via Western Union or SWIFT bank transfer. For example, 6 modules of group lessons and a book set would normally cost $829 ($755 plus $74) but with the 20% discount the total would be $663.

— Do you teach other languages?
— Yes, we teach German, French, Italian, and Chinese. And we can teach you Russian as well!

The Governing Body of our English courses consists of people with a wide variety of views and experiences. We are united in our only aim:

To do everything possible to provide our clients with a broad, balanced, and relevant curriculum which will enable them to feel secure and confident in their new environment.

Program description

• The courses are open to all interested clients.
• Clients will be admitted without prejudice regardless of their current ability or aptitude.
• All clients will be interviewed prior to class assignment. This will ensure that all clients will be assigned to an appropriate level with other clients of equal level.
• Students are not required to begin in the first module. If their evaluation shows that they have mastered the skills of any module they are free to begin at a higher module. Please take into consideration, however, that after the basic module there is a lot of information about western life in addition to the English instruction in each module.
• Classes will consist of small groups of four to eight people, depending on the number of students ready to begin any module. Eight, however, will be the maximum.

Levels of English

Usually, the ladies take lessons in modules. Each module consists of 16 hours of tuition. 6 modules constitute a level. The program at the moment consists of 3 levels: Elementary, Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate. Of course, we teach at all levels, so for our students who reach advanced level we have a custom-made program specially tailored for their needs, for example, a TOEFL preparation course.

Before the lady starts taking lessons with us we interview her and ask to do a test to establish her level of English. After that she either joins a group or takes one-to-one lessons with a tutor, depending on her needs and schedule. I am attaching a sample program for pre-intermediate level.

Duration

Usually each lesson lasts 2 hours. Depending on the lady's schedule, they may take place at any time during the day. The latest they begin is 6 p.m.

If the lady takes lessons in a group, 1 module lasts 16 hours. That makes 8 lessons 2 hours long each. Usually a module is completed in just about 3 weeks.
