St Valentine's Day at the Language School

Last Sunday, 15 February, for all our students we arranged an open lesson. We also invited everyone who was interested to participate in it. This event was a combination of a lesson and an English Club colored with a lovely tint of romance.

St. Valentine's Day is a perfect occasion to speak about love, to tell the one you love how special they are or to find this special person if you have not met yet. The language of love is universal, whether you speak English or Russian, a serenade is always a serenade. That is what we were learning to do during this lesson. It was also a chance for our guests to experience what learning English at our school is like.

During the lessons we sang love songs, played games and even tried to predict the future using apples., believe it or not. Our guests Jason and Kelly learned the best way to a Russian woman's heart by singing love songs in Russian.
