USD 350 Needed For Heart Surgery Soon

Larisa Sozonova lives in a small village of the Mari El Republic with her little daughter. In 1996 doctors told her she had a heart disease. She could do without any operation till 2003. But this year the problems with her heart have become still worse, and now the doctors insist she should be operated on. The operation is quite complicated and it is to be performed in Moscow, at the Transplantation and Artificial Organs Institute. The operation itself is paid by the Ministry of Health of the Mari El Republic. Larisa must pay for bed, medical supplies, meals and nursing which is about 350 USD. The money is to be gathered during this October. Any donation would be welcome.
