Correction school "Stanovleniye"

Correction school "Stanovleniye" for children with deviant behavior was founded in 1998 in Yoshkar-Ola. School is attended by children with learning disabilities. Most come from families with alcohol and drug addicted parents. Every year the number of teenagers grows and now 150 children live at this school or attend it at daytime. According to recent investigation of the living conditions of these children, about 60% lose their motivation to study. As a result they become free to do what they want. Sometimes they leave their homes where drunk parents beat them or make them earn money for the next portion of alcohol. It is clear that homeless children are dangerous. They have to steal something to be able to survive. They become criminals and are very dangerous to society. This school helps to prevent the catastrophe of the children's lives. But this school is young and it needs the educational material. Currently they need money for textbooks, visual materials and other equipment. All that they have now is very old and is not up to date. Please help those trying to save our future.
