Anyone's heart would be full of pain to see a tiny mewing creature or a skinny puppy who is wagging his tail in devotion:Maybe they have simply got lost or are too little to find their way home, or maybe they are just "street pets". It's hard to imagine that they have been thrown away by their masters. One minute later the poor creature is sitting in his new master's arms who is tenderly pressing him against his chest. He has been warmed, fed and given a warm place to live in and in a few days nobody can imagine how they could live without this "foundling". It often happens so that a happy cat or a dog becomes not only a member of the family, but its talisman and sometimes even the "head" of it as well, once and for all.

Sometimes these "foundlings" are brought home by children. They promise to take care of the puppy (the kitten), take it for a walk if necessary and also to do their hometask without being reminded of it. Sometimes parents would agree. Then a son or a daughter grow up to be a kind and responsible person who is always ready to give a helping hand to those in need. But sometimes they would refuse saying that they should return these poor pets where they took them. They use all kinds of arguments from "It will spoil our parquet" and "You will get worms or fleas from it" to "Let's better get you a mobile phone".

But little "foundlings" can be cured and it must be possible to do something to save the parquet. It's saving a poor animal that is much more important. One can suppress a child's sincere and noble impulse but as a result in a few years he will become a selfish person impossible to change even by getting him a puppy with the best pedigree:

Sometimes it happens so that this poor creature is taken by a lonely person or elderly people. In this case they get a devoted Friend who can even save their life because animals can help to cure many diseases. In hospitals they even use such kind of therapy as communication with a dog or a cat. And the sick recover quicker!

The club "Maugly" is aimed at helping abandoned pets and their Masters to find each other. Anybody can become a member of this club!

Taking a puppy or a kitten is a very responsible step and before doing this one should learn a lot: to feed, to treat your pet and do many other things. And only after this you can decide if you are really able to take this step (you should also remember that food and medications for your pet take quite a lot of money).

Yes, we all are of the same blood, people and their devoted friends-animals-cats and dogs.

There are lots of abandoned pets in the town and the circle of people who help these animals to survive needs support to build a shelter for them. We have a piece of land already, we keep 18 dogs and 40 cats and your assistance will be highly appreciated.
