Just as we get close to Cheboksary we cross Volga over a great dam. The city also has a huge electric power station in the outskirts. Inside the town we can find several museums, such as the Big Ethnographic Museum, the museum of the Civil War.

Cheboksary has the largest brewing company in the region, it was founded 25 years ago. Also they have a unique museum of beer where one may find out about the history of brewery in Russia. And if you like beer you will have a chance to taste many kinds of Russian fresh-brewed beer in numerous bars and pubs right inside the museum.

Just along the Volga river you can see a stone wall which surrounds the Kremlin that is one of the main places you should visit during your excursion to Cheboksary.
